The Final Day
-24 Hours Remain-
What better way to cap this fun holiday calendar than the famous Master Sword herself?
I’ve had great fun with this endeavour, and I hope you’ve had as much fun following along!
However, all good things must come to an end, so this Christmas Eve, I present to you not only Link’s trusty sword but also one of my favourite characters in the whole Zelda series: Fi. (For those of you who are unaware, Fi is the manifestation of the Master Sword in Hylian-adjacent form.)
This entire picture is an homage to Skyward Sword, in fact. I took great pains to dress Link in the tunic and trousers of the Sky (which were, rather ironically, collected in the Depths), and hoisted the sword up in the air in a classic Skyward Strike. Updrafts waft in the background, the silhouettes of sky islands loom in the background, and there’s the top of Tulin’s head. (Maybe that bit isn’t quite so poetic.)
In another sweet homage to Tears of the Kingdom itself, this picture was taken on top of the Light Dragon. Fi and the Light Dragon in one picture—it kind of makes you want to tear up a little, doesn’t it? I guess ‘Tears’ of the Kingdom really was an accurate name.
I believe this picture was taken just a little bit west of the South Hyrule Sky Archipelago. It’s a bit tricky to figure out since the Light Dragon’s range more or less encompasses all of Hyrule’s skies, but I think I’m pretty close to the mark here at any rate.
Thank you so much for reading my twenty-four days of Link pictures from my adventures across Hyrule! Have a wonderful holiday season, and may the Goddess smile upon you.
