The Second Twenty-Third Day

The Fierce Deity sword was virtually impossible to attain in Breath of the Wild. It took me two months of amiibo drops to get my hands on one for the first time. At that point…Tears of the Kingdom was already almost out anyway. Imagine my surprise when not only is the drop rate much higher for this awesome-looking sword, it actually exists as an attainable item in-game. Naturally, this meant that the picture had to be just as epic as the sword.

The opportunity presented itself during the ‘Crisis at Hyrule Castle’ main quest (so naturally, it was taken at Hyrule Castle), when I followed puppet Zelda around the castle. I managed to catch this picture just before she poofed away, with the perfect perspective to make her look like she was perched in Link’s hand. 

Naturally, I equipped myself in full Fierce Deity garb to give the picture a little extra authenticity. What better way to celebrate the climax of the holiday season but with this exciting scene?
