It’s a bit of an unpleasant surprise when you thaw a chunk of ice, hoping for the happy face of a Korok, or at the very least a chest with some arrows or ore in it, and instead when the ice cracks you find yourself face-to-face with an angry moblin or bokoblin. To be perfectly fair, I’d be pretty angry too if I’d been frozen in a chunk of Hebra ice for (potentially) days on end.
Luckily, this time I didn’t even have to thaw the pesky woggly to get a nice picture! The camera managed to be able to pick him out through the sheet of ice, meaning Link didn’t have to get his hands dirty. Of course, I’m not sure the naked eye can pick out the boko in this picture, but oh well.
Oh, and about Link’s funky expression: my cold resistance rice balls ran out halfway through the photo shoot. Whoops. He looks kind of terrified, actually. I guess he’s heard some horror stories about frostbite and realizes that he’s got his shoulders exposed. But hey, the little jewels on his cheeks are lit up and his breath is fogging! Isn’t that cute?
This image was taken somewhere in the west Hebra mountains. I think it was just a bit east of Sturnida Basin, but Hebra is pretty bleak and I honestly can’t remember. (This is even the most recent of all of the advent images. I just genuinely can’t remember locations in Hebra.)
