Fall has brought a cozy chill to the air! It’s a time where you want to make sure you savour the last of the warmth of the season before the weather plunges into a downward spiral on the thermometer, when there’s just a slight bite in the air. Or more, depending on the day. There’s a sort of impending melancholy of the cold to come mingling with the remains of summer’s colour and optimism with the few flowers still hanging on and spreading their petals. October in particular is always a month for warm treats and colourful leaves, or maybe one of spooks and tricks, depending on who you ask.
My sweet Pumpkin Tart likes a bit of both! She loves the little pumpkins that come along with the season, but has also popped on her cat ears to show a bit of spooky Halloween spirit. (These cute ears actually came with her). I’ve had her for many years, since the budding times of my childhood, although I’ve never wanted take the sweet bow off her neck, lest I be unable to retie it afterwards.
Everything about her is a perfect blend of both fall aesthetics, from her beautiful two-tone mane and tail to her matching adorable stylized cutie mark of a violet cat curled up under a yellow crescent moon, all on the backdrop of a body that is the precise colour of a pumpkin.

Look—you can’t tell her apart from the other pumpkins! Perhaps she’s taking advantage of the resemblance to pull a prank on an unsuspecting somepony.
There’s no better way to take advantage of this wonderful intermediary season than to get cozy and enjoy it, so why don’t we do just that? Let this little pony bring a smile to your face before you go about walking underneath and through the golden and auburn leaves, like she has for me all these years.
