What better way to celebrate the eighth day of December than with an eightfold blade?

Since they’re essentially the same weapon in different states of cleanliness, I’ve decided to bundle them together in one compact, festive, Linkful package. Enjoy!

First, for the gloom-tainted variant of the Eightfold blade, we open on Link lit up in Frostbite blue and freezing the tips of his cute little ears off. It has a certain frosty, festive cheer to it that is perfect for this time of year. It’s so pretty and luminous against the white background of snow and cold.

This picture was taken in the rough vicinity of Nachoyah Shrine on the Great Sky Island. (I wasn’t entirely certain on that point until I saw the construct lurking in the background, which served as much-needed confirmation.)

The picture of the clean, gloom-free Eightfold blade was taken in Rito Village, next to the uncompleted Gatakis Shrine. As much as it’s satisfying to complete a shrine, the beacon that glows from the top of one you haven’t finished is so pretty, especially in Rito Village where the green Zonai spiral wafts up the layers of the town. It’s somewhat peaceful, is it not?
